This morning, Mr. Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and Economy, and Mr. Alexeï Meshkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federation of Russia, gave an appraisal of "2015 – Russian Year in Monaco" at the Monaco-Russia Economic Forum, organised by the Monaco Economic Board.

More than 153 events have taken place this year. "Russian Year in Monaco" officially opened on 19 December 2014 with "The Taming of the Shrew" ("La Mégère apprivoisée"), a new work by Jean-Christophe Maillot for the Bolshoi Ballet.

Mr. Castellini and Mr. Meshkov welcomed this harmonious collaboration and the involvement of high-level leaders from both countries throughout the year, as well as the active participation of private individuals, all of which has contributed to the success of this event.

"2015 – Russian Year in Monaco" will be echoed in Moscow in 2016, a year in which the tenth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries will also be celebrated.
