Diplomatic Conference 2019

As every year, the Department of External Relations and Cooperation organized the Diplomatic Conference bringing together, from 24 to 26 April, the entire Diplomatic Corps of Monaco.

After a progress report on the state of negotiations between Monaco and the European Union, a presentation was made on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs) and particularly on the follow-up of the Principality's commitment to SDO 14 "Conserving and sustainably exploiting oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development".

Various current topics were discussed during this annual meeting, including, in particular, the energy transition, budgetary and fiscal developments, extension at sea, the missions of the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women's Rights, Expo Dubai 2020 and the Commemoration Committee of Prince Albert I.

This conference is one of the highlights of the Principality's diplomatic life.
