Official meeting with the authorities of St. Petersburg

On February 13th 2018, HE Mrs. Mireille PETTITI was received by Mr. Evgeny GRIGORIEV, the Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, to discuss possible areas of cooperation between the St. Petersburg and Monegasque authorities.

Several projects were discussed, particularly in the field of culture. HE Ms. PETTITI informed the local authorities that the Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo will give two performances on the Alexandrinsky Theater's historical scene on April 6^th and 7^th 2018. She also mentioned the possibility of organizing Monegasque exhibitions in the near future in the most famous St. Petersburg’s museums, such as the State Russian Museum and the Hermitage.

Possible economic cooperation was also discussed during this interview. In order to promote trade, HE Mrs. PETTITI and Mr. GRIGORIEV agreed to put the Monegasque and St. Petersburg business organizations in order to prepare  a possible economic mission in St. Petersburg in the medium term.
