Celebration of 15 years of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Russia

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Principality of Monaco, Mr Laurent ANSELMI, Government Counsellor - Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, sent a message to Mr Sergeï LAVROV, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation to salute the relations of trust and friendship that unite these two countries.
Indeed, since 11 July 2006, intense and constructive cooperation as well as numerous exchanges in the economic, scientific and environmental fields have taken place, thanks to the constant impetus of the Heads of State of both countries.
A desire to continue strengthening this cooperation has been expressed, in particular through cultural diplomacy, a vehicle for peace and rapprochement between peoples.
Despite the difficulties caused by the international health situation, this celebration is an opportunity for Monaco to reaffirm its intention to work towards deepening the links forged over the past 15 years.
