The Ambassador of the Russian Federation meets the Minister of State

 H.E. Mr. Alexandre Orlov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Monaco, made a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Serge Telle on Monday 13 June.  This meeting was an opportunity for an overview of bilateral relations between Monaco and Russia.  The 10^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Russia, which is being celebrated this year, and Monaco Week in Russia, which will take place from 4 to 7 October 2016, were also discussed.  Mr. Gilles Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, H.E. Ms. Mireille Pettiti, Ambassador of Monaco to the Russian Federation and Ms. Ekaterina Seminikhina, Honorary Consul General of the Russian Federation to Monaco, were also present at this meeting.

Russian National Day was celebrated on the same evening at the Yacht Club of Monaco, preceded by the presentation of decorations.  The Russian Federation decided to pay tribute to Monegasque dignitaries*, following their involvement in "2015 – Russian Year in Monaco.
